The Computer Sports Federation (FKS) of Russia announces the launch of the National Student Esports League (NSLK). The new tournament will provide Russian higher and secondary educational institutions with a platform for competition in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2. The competition, starting in March 2024, is divided into two arenas – Eastern and Western, depending on the location of the educational institution.
The competition includes three stages for each discipline, where the best eSports player will be determined. Teams may consist of men and women between the ages of 16 and 24, provided they are studying at the same institution. Unlike the All-Russian eSports Student League, the new league represents separate teams in Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2.
Open qualifications in the Eastern zone are scheduled for March 2-3, 2024, in the Western zone – for March 9-10. The total prize fund will be ₽4 million, and the LAN final will be held in Moscow with the participation of two teams from each arena in both disciplines. Details of registration, rules and format of the competition are available on the official website of the league, as well as on the social networks of the FCC of Russia.
